Rita J. Tellow and James D. Henson were married Jan. 4, 2003, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, Mo. The Rev. Stephen Schneider performed the ceremony. Organist was Nora Fuchs of Sikeston.
Parents of the couple are Dr. and Mrs. R.J. Tellow of Sikeston, and Mr. and Mrs. George Henson of Scott City.
Maid of honor was Kristin Ancell of Sikeston. Bridesmaids were Lauren Mosley and Amy Smith of Sikeston, and Caroline Harper of Jackson.
The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Omar Tellow of Sikeston, Ben Henson of Scott City, and Paul Tellow of Sikeston, brothers of the couple.
Amy Bradford attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at Sikeston Country Club.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Jan. 3 at Malone Avenue Grill in Sikeston.
Mrs. Henson received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a teacher at Jackson R-2 Schools.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast University. He is employed at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
