Leah Michelle Taylor and Andrew Joseph Wenger were married Aug. 4, 2001, at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in St. Louis. Msgr. Robert Jovanovic performed the double ring ceremony. Soloist was Terri Rothwell, aunt of the bride, and flutist was Jessi Poepping. Christine Wenger, sister of the groom, read scriptures.

Paul and Sally Taylor of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Mary Clair Wenger of St. Louis and the late Jacob Wenger.

Matron of honor was Gayla Daugherty of St. Louis. Bridesmaids were Robin Ragsdale of Paris, Mo., Sami Schulte of Jackson, Mo., and Melissa Sullivan of Colorado Springs, Colo.

Michael Sullivan of Colorado Springs served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Shawn Taylor of Jackson, brother of the bride; Kieran O'Shea and Paul Wood of St. Louis. Guests were seated by Ryan Stonecipher-Fischer of Columbia, Mo., cousin of the bride, and Luke Wenger of St. Louis, nephew of the groom.

Guest book attendants were Allison and Anna Wenger of St. Louis, nieces of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at Orlando Gardens in St. Louis.

The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 2 at Bevo Mill in St. Louis.

The bride is a graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in math and computer science from Stephens College, and a teaching certificate from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is an eighth grade algebra teacher at Sperreng Middle School in the Lindbergh School District.

The groom is a graduate of Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis. He received an associate's degree in horticulture from Meramec Community College. He owns and operates AJ Lawn and Landscape.

After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple resides in St. Louis.
