Mandi Michelle Tally and Jason Keith Moore were united in marriage Oct. 20, 2001, at Bethel Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Phillip Roop performed the double ring ceremony. Music was by a string quartet. Soloist was Gerry McCloud II of Scott City, Mo.
Parents of the bride are Benjamin and Jo Tally of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Doyle Moore of Fenton, Mo., and the late Joan Moore.
Matron of honor was Anne Heisserer of Scott City, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Shannon and Meredith Tally, sisters of the bride, and Sara Moore, all of Cape Girardeau, Laura Shelton of Jackson, Christy Kelley of Cape Girardeau, Kathryn Hunter of Jackson, and Tara Givens of Cape Girardeau.
Jeff Moore of St. Louis served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were David Scowden of Springfield, Mo., brother of the groom; Jason McCollum of St. Louis, David King of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; Eric Minea of St. Louis, cousin of the groom; Scott Stewart, Chad Boyt and Warren Hamann, all of Puxico, Mo. Ushers were Tony Heisserer of Scott City, brother-in-law of the bride; Mike Clinton of Puxico; Mike Tally of Anna, Ill., and Dennis Burd of Carbondale, Ill., both uncles of the bride.
Candlelighters were Dennis Burd and Mike Tally.
Flower girl was Grace King, daughter of David and Jill King. Ringbearers were Stephen Hoffmeister, son of Dionne Hoffmeister of Cape Girardeau, and Jackson Givens, son of Tara Givens.
April Lockner of St. Louis attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the University Center Ballroom. Servers were Dionne Hoffmeister, Bonnie Chaudoir, Carla Tally and Hope Essner.
The groom's father hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 19 at the church.
Mrs. Moore received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Southeast Missouri State University, and a master of arts degree in counseling from Webster University. She is employed at Behavioral Health Response.
The groom attended Southeast University, Three Rivers Community College, and St. Louis Community College. He is employed in the Sleep Lab Department at Washington University Hospital.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in St. Louis.
