First Presbyterian Church was the setting May 18, 2002, for the wedding of Meghan Elizabeth Talley and Thomas Delvin Edwards. The Rev. Paul Kabo performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Dr. Gary Miller, cellist was Kirk Miller, both of Cape Girardeau, and soloist was Jill Prince of Jackson, Mo.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William Talley and the late Patricia Talley, and Dr. and Mrs. Donald Edwards, all of Cape Girardeau.
Sarah Stephens of Cape Girardeau was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kyla Erlbacher of Cape Girardeau; Holly Robinson of Sikeston, Mo.; Becky Dugan of Nashville, Tenn., sister of the groom; and Roxie Dudley of St. Louis. Junior bridesmaid was Emily Kiehne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kiehne of St. Louis.
The groom chose his brother, Dean Edwards of Cape Girardeau, as best man. Groomsmen were Tim Edwards of Nashville, brother of the groom; Eric Bergmann of Cape Girardeau; Mike Enke of St. Louis; and Chris Talley of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride. Junior groomsman was Tim Edwards, son of Dr. and Mrs. Dean Edwards of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Robert Erlbacher of Cape Girardeau and Luke Herbst of Chapel Hill, N.C.
Flower girls were Kate Edwards and Madeleine Dugan. Ringbearers were John and Sam Dugan. Kate is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Dean Edwards. Madeleine, John and Sam are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dugan of Nashville.
Lorrie Edwards of Cape Girardeau, sister-in-law of the groom, attended the guest book. Program attendants were Christi Kiehne of Pardeeville, Wis., and Kathy Masterson of St. Louis, cousins of the bride.
A reception was held at the Elks Lodge.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 17 at Mollies Cafe and Bar.
Mrs. Edwards is a 1996 graduate of Central High School. She is manager of Gadzooks.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Central High School, and a 1997 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is employed at Red Letter Communications Inc.
After a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
