Julie Tallent and Chris Griffin were married April 17, 2004, on a beach in Destin, Fla. Joanne Stapleton performed the sunset ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Terry and Linda Tallent of Jackson. The groom is the son of Buddy and Nancy Robnett of Tacoma, Wash.

Matron of honor was the bride's mother.

The groom chose his stepfather as best man.

Following the ceremony, a dinner was made by the bride's parents at Shoreline Towers Clubhouse in Destin.

Mrs. Griffin is a graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in art/design from Webster University in St. Louis, and a certificate in new media from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is publications and website coordinator with Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites in Atlanta.

The groom is a graduate of Clover Park High School in Tacoma. He received a bachelor of arts degree in classical studies from the University of Chicago, and a law degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He is employed with the Office of Civil Rights in the Department of Health and Human Services in Atlanta.

After a wedding trip to Italy, the couple is residing in Decatur, Ga.
