The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Syler of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Munter of Salem, Ill.

Maid of honor was Lauren Syler. Bridesmaids were Kara Braudis, Megan Murphy, Nicole Miller and Julia Willcox.

Steen Munter was best man. Groomsmen were Scott Parker, Jonathan Grice and Travis McFarlane.

Scott Lawrie and Erin Harmon attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the atrium of Dempster Hall on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.

Mrs. Munter received a bachelor of arts degree in theater from the University of Missouri, and is pursuing a master of fine arts degree in theater at the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tenn.

The groom received a bachelor of arts degree in education from Graceland University, and a master's degree in education from Central Methodist University. He is a teacher at White Station High School in Memphis.

The couple resides in Memphis.
