Sarah Marie Sutterer and Steven Daniel Lentz, both of Friedheim, were married Aug. 9 at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson. The Rev. John Harth performed the ceremony. Jane Oehl of Jackson was vocalist and Jerry Ganiel of Jackson was pianist.

The bride is the daughter of Tim and Karen Sutterer of Fruitland. The groom is the son of Dan and Julea Lentz of Browning, Missouri.

Matron of honor was Amanda Root of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Vanessa Lentz of Browning, sister of the groom, Mary Lentz of Browning, sister-in-law of the groom, Ashley Stevens of Houston, Texas, and Megan Berkbigler of Old Appleton, Missouri.

Best man was Nick Lentz of Browning, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Keith Parks of St. Louis, Brian Merkel of Hermosa Beach, California, Brad Coursey of Humphreys, Missouri, and Austin Sutterer of St. Louis, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Brandon Curtis of Kansas City, Missouri, cousin of the groom, and Austin Sutterer of St. Louis, brother of the bride.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.

The rehearsal dinner was held Aug. 8 at Apple Creek Vineyard & Winery in Friedheim.

The bride received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology. She is an engineer at Procter & Gamble.

The groom also received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology. He is an engineer at Shaefer's Electrical Enclosures.

After a wedding trip to Nassau, Bahamas, the couple lives in Friedheim.
