Angela R. Suhre and Jason E. McLean were married May 18, 2002, at Grace Bible Church in Jackson. Dr. Fred Burgard performed the ceremony. Organist was Karla Drury and soloists were Alisha Walther and Burgard.
Parents of the bride are Bill and Lynn Suhre of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Jim and Becky McLean of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Shelly Steffens of Jefferson City, Mo. Bridesmaids were Carol Adams of Columbia, Mo., and Kelli and Jennifer Suhre of Jackson, both cousins of the bride.
Mike Cornehlsen of Perryville, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Tyson Suhre, brother of the bride, Joe and Jon McLean, brothers of the groom, all of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Matthew and Michael Harris, cousins of the bride, and Brian and Matt Holder, cousins of the groom.
Candlelighters were Jamie and Tina Suhre of Jackson, cousins of the bride.
Flower girls were Jenna and Jade McMechan, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Josh McMechan and cousins of the groom.
Susan and Ramsey Scott attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Bavarian Halle in Jackson. Servers were Susan Tilley and Donna Hinze, cousin and aunt of the bride, respectively.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 17 at Drury Lodge.
Mrs. McLean is a graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at John's Pharmacy.
The groom is a graduate of Central High School. He is employed at TG Missouri Corp.
After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple is residing in Jackson.
