JACKSON, Mo. -- Lisa Ann Strautmann and Matthew Scott Raterman were married Aug. 4, 2001, at St. Francis Xavier Church in St. Louis. The Rev. Charles Prost performed the double ring ceremony. Reader was Alison Brown of St. Louis.

Parents of the couple are Gary and Ellen Strautmann and David and Arlene Raterman, all of St. Louis.

Maid of honor was Amanda Tinnin of St. Louis. Bridesmaids were Julia Morgan; Rachel and Rebecca Raterman, sisters of the groom; Beth Strautmann, sister of the bride; and Elissa Mertz, all of St. Louis.

Chris Northrup of St. Louis served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Raterman of St. Louis, brother of the groom; Eric Allis of Clinton, Mo., Noah Adelman of St. Louis, Chris Therrien of St. Peters, Mo., and Adam Goetz of Leavenworth, Kan. Ushers were Paul and Greg Strautmann of St. Louis, brothers of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Orlando Gardens in St. Louis.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 3 at Orlando Gardens.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Notre Dame High School in St. Louis. She received a bachelor of arts degree in advertising and marketing communications from Webster University in St. Louis in 2001. She is an account executive with Jackson USA/Southeast Missourian.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Vianney High School in St. Louis. He received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 2001. He is an engineer at Procter & Gamble.

The couple resides in Jackson.
