Shelly Stover and Jeff DeVore were united in marriage April 28, 2007, at Grandview Baptist Church in Davenport, Iowa. The Rev. Brian Spitzer performed the ceremony. Music was by Tim and Teri Adams of Moline, Ill., and Eric McDermott of Davenport. Scripture readers were Erica Schaefer of Tigard, Ore., and Andrea Penland of Ozark, Mo.
The bride is the daughter of Rob and Carol Stover of Jackson. The groom is the son of Dean and Ellen DeVore of West Bend, Iowa.
Matrons of honor were Lacey Schumacher and Sara White of Davenport. Bridesmaids were Kelly Schilling of Wake Forest, N.C., and Tammy Stover of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride.
Jason Lubben of Mason City, Iowa, was his cousin's best man. Groomsmen were Mike Seehusen of Ames, Iowa, Brandon Lage of Chicago, and Chad White of Davenport. Ushers were Andy Schumacher and Greg Barth of Davenport, and Kennan Archer of Chicago.
Candlelighters were Christina Wallace of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Amanda Crouch of Springfield, Mo.
Flower girl was Ally Nelson of Colona, Ill., and Jamison Schriever of Durango, Calif., nephew of the groom.
Renee Schriever of Durango, sister of the groom, attended the guest book. Tina Lubben of Mason City handed out programs.
The reception was held at Moline Club.
The rehearsal dinner was held April 27 at Old Chicago.
Mrs. DeVore received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is employed at Exelon Nuclear in Cordova, Ill.
The groom received a bachelor's degree in communications from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. He is employed at Independent News Network in Davenport.
After a wedding trip to Lake Tahoe, Nev., the couple resides in Davenport.
