Amber Ren'ee Stepp and Brandon Scott Hinkle were married Sept. 4, 2013, at Cape County Park South. The Rev. Mark Martin, associate pastor of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Melissa Stepp of Cape Girardeau, and the late Stephen Sadler Jr. of Morley, Mo. The groom is the son of Scott and Brenda Hinkle of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Tiffany Schaefer of Oran, Mo. Bridesmaid was Leigha Surface of Jackson, daughter of the bride.

Matthew Hinkle of Sikeston, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Keegan Hinkle, son of the groom, and Zyler Surface, son of the bride, both of Jackson.

A reception will be held Feb. 1, 2014, at the VFW Post in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Hinkle is a 2005 graduate of Bell City High School, and is pursuing a BASS degree at Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Med Assets.

Hinkle is a 2003 graduate of Central High School, and is a 2013 graduate of the EMT/paramedic program at Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. He is a full time paramedic with Cape County Private Ambulance, a part time EMT at Isle of Capri Casino, and is Station 1 captain with Gordonville Volunteer Fire Department.

A wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., is planned in February.

The couple is residing in Jackson.
