Amanda June Staten and Jason Daniel Davis exchanged vows May 27, 2006, at the home of her parents. Jim Sorrell performed the ceremony. Musician was David Lester of Maynard, Ark., uncle of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Freeda Staten of Poplar Bluff, Mo. The groom is the son of Pat Baker of Trenton, Tenn., and Danny Davis of Dyersburg, Tenn.

Maid of honor was Brittany Staten of Poplar Bluff, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Eggers of St. Louis and P.J. Frame of Trenton, sister of the groom.

William Frame of Trenton was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Ted Wallace and Joe Ridings of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Roman Staten of Maynard, cousin of the bride, and Glen Hausman of Pocahontas, Ark., uncle of the bride.

Flower girl was Chloe Stroud of O'Kean, Ark., cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Keaton Stroud of O'Kean, cousin and godson of the bride.

The reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Poplar Bluff.

The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner May 26 at Grecian Steak House.

Mrs. Davis is a 2001 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School. She received a bachelor's degree in child development from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005. She is employed by Drury Hotels.

The groom is a 1999 graduate of Peabody High School. He is employed at Spartech Plastics.

After a wedding trip to Chicago, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
