Summer Nicole Smith and Keith Douglas Uelsmann were married Oct. 16, 2010, at Old Bethel Baptist Church. The Rev. Steven Vester performed the ceremony. Music and vocals were provided by Brent and Christy Horton.
The bride is the daughter of Rick Sinclair of Morley, Mo., and Vicki Newell of Patton, Mo. The groom is the son of Marci Stone of Jackson and Herman Uelsmann of Cape Girardeau.
Matron of honor was Julee Higgins of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Christin Sharrock of Jackson; Allison Uelsmann of Fenton, Mo., sister-in-law of the bride; Danielle Lefler of Greenville, Mo., cousin of the bride; Dee Dee Clingingsmith of Chaffee, Mo.; Tracy Shaffer of Sikeston, Mo., sister of the bride; and Ashley Mansker of Lebanon, Ill., cousin of the bride.
Scott Uelsmann of Fenton was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Dustin Michael of Columbia, Mo., Jarod Crouch of Waterloo, Iowa, Jim Graham of Sikeston, Andrew Nussbaum of Jackson, Brian Kelpe of Cape Girardeau, and Carl Bone of Ste. Genevieve, Mo. Ushers were Matt Anders and Jason Trickey of Cape Girardeau.
Candlelighters were Donna McMillian of Jackson, aunt of the bride, and Heather Anthony of Sikeston.
Flower girl was Madison Smith of Jackson, daughter of the bride. Ringbearer was Landon Uelsmann of Desloge, Mo., son of the groom.
The reception was held at the VFW Hall in Morley.
Mrs. Uelsmann is a 1999 graduate of Meadow Heights High School at Patton. She is a wrap operator at Unilever Ice Cream in Sikeston.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from Southeast Missouri State University. He is an electrician at Noranda Aluminum in New Madrid, Mo.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in Jackson.
