Smith -- McDowell

Jordan Danielle Smith and Zachary Mark McDowell were married June 19 at Mint Springs Farm in Nolensville, Tennessee. The Rev. Barry Pfanstiel performed the ceremony. Music was provided by College Grove Strings of College Grove, Tennessee.

Jordan is the daughter of David and Sandy Smith of Jackson. Zachary is the son of Tom and Denise McDowell of Jackson.

Maid of honor was Taylor Smith of Jackson, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Allison Caines of Newnan, Georgia, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rachael Meyr of Lexington, Kentucky, friend of the bride; and Brittany Austin of Jackson, friend of the bride.

The flower girl was Payton McDowell, daughter of Seth and Jenny McDowell of St. Charles, Missouri, and niece of the groom.

The ringbearers were Matthew and Erik Caines, sons of Chris and Allison Caines of Newnan and nephews of the bride.

Readers were Chelsea McDowell of Kansas City, Missouri, and Brittney Lee of Cape Girardeau, both sisters of the groom.

Best men were Seth McDowell of St. Charles, brother of the groom; Bobby Clark of Jackson, friend of the groom; and Josh Lee of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the groom. Junior groomsman was Bryson Lee of Cape Girardeau, nephew of the groom.

The wedding reception followed the ceremony at Mint Springs Farm.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Saffire Restaurant in Franklin, Tennessee.

Jordan is a 2010 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2013. She is a third-grade teacher at Harvest Ridge Elementary School in St. Charles.

Zachary is a 2011 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from Southeast Missouri State University in 2015. He is a certified public accountant at Anders CPAs + Advisors in St. Louis.

After a wedding trip to California, the couple lives in St. Louis.
