Smiley-Boren

Linda Sue Smiley and Jerry Allen Boren were married April 7, 2006, in a private ceremony at the home of the couple. The Rev. Susan Wilkerson performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of John and Dona Biler of Chaffee, Mo. The groom is the son of Nelda Boren of Cape Girardeau, and the late Ervin Boren.

Witnesses were Ann and Frank McCall, sister and brother-in-law of the bride.

A dinner and dance reception was held June 2 at Francine's Gardens.

Mrs. Boren is a graduate of Chaffee High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University.

The groom is a graduate of Central High School.

After a Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas and a trip to Nashville, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
