Emily Kay Sikes and Ryan David Blattel were married Nov. 30, 2013, at Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville. Jeff Gipson performed the ceremony. Buddy Heaton of Bloomfield, Mo., was pianist and organist; Duane Sikes of Paducah, Ky., uncle of the bride, was pianist/vocalist; and Doug Sikes of Morley, Mo., father of the bride, was guitarist.

Parents of the couple are Doug and Kelly Sikes of Morley and Darrel and Joan Blattel of Kelso, Mo.

Matron of honor was Elizabeth Richter of Louisville, Ky., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ellen Gipson of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride; Jennifer Yarbro of Paducah, and Amy Simpson of Jackson.

Andrew Blattel of Cape Girardeau was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Josh LaMouria of Jackson, Christopher Hinkle of Cape Girardeau, and Philip Spinks of St. Louis. Ushers were Wilson Sikes of St. Louis, brother of the bride, and Phillip Buttrey of Council Grove, Kan., cousin of the groom.

Jayne LaMouria of Jackson was flower girl. Ringbearer was Owen Blattel of Cape Girardeau, nephew of the groom.

The reception was held at Drury Lodge.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Nov. 29 at their home.

Mrs. Blattel received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University, and is pursuing a master's degree from the University of Memphis. She is marketing account services coordinator at Saint Francis Medical Center.

The groom received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast. He is industrial sales representative with Liberty Utilities in Jackson.

After a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple is residing in Scott City.
