Yael "Elle" Feliz Siat and Carson Hallett Majors were married Sept. 9, 2009, on the beach at Paradise Cove in Orlando, Fla. The Rev. John Harris performed the ceremony. A coin ceremony and veil and cord ceremony, traditions in the Philippines, were part of the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ramon and Rogelia Siat of Ballwin, Mo. The groom is the son of Hal and Bonnie Majors of Cape Girardeau.
Matron of honor was Tanya Heuiser of St. Louis, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rae Galpo of the Philippines, cousin of the bride, and Jessica Ocuaman of St. Louis.
Tyler Majors of Cape Girardeau was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Joshua Combs of St. Louis, cousin of the groom, and Jacob Seyer of Cape Girardeau.
Flower girls were Bianca Olea and Claire Halter. Bianca is goddaughter of the bride. Claire is daughter of Chad and Summer Halter of Cape Girardeau and niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Aidan Heuiser, son of Brad and Tanya Heuiser and nephew of the bride. Coinbearer was Vaughn Halter, son of Chad and Summer Halter and nephew of the groom.
The reception was held at Paradise Cove.
Mrs. Majors received a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Southeast Missouri State University in 2008. She graduated from Digital Animation and Visual Effects School in Orlando in 2009. She is employed by World Wide FX Studio in Shreveport, La.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Central High School, and served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He received a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Southeast University in 2008. He is employed by World Wide FX Studio.
After a cruise to the Caribbean, the couple is residing in Shreveport.
