Meghann Rebecca Shell and Cody Lovel Bell were married April 26, 2008, at Centenary United Methodist Church. Rob Mehner performed the ceremony. Organist was Nora Fuchs of Sikeston, Mo.

The bride is the daughter of Gina and Leo Lundy of Cape Girardeau and David Shell of Jackson. The groom is the son of Sheila and Edd Ghent and Gordon Bell, all of St. Louis.

Maid of honor was Rebecca Randolph of O'Fallon, Mo. Bridesmaids were Madeline Shell of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride; Michelle Bell of Lewisburg, Mo., sister of the groom; Kim Senters of St. Louis, Missy Adams, Kelli Holland and Brooke Watson, all of Cape Girardeau.

Jon Alkire of St. Louis was best man. Groomsmen were Guy Bauer, Nick Davis, Tim Dollens, Trevor Egan, Mark Fratto, Tom Hemmer and Ryan Pascoe, all of St. Louis. Ushers were Alex Shell of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride, and Kevin Reed of St. Louis.

Flower girl was Evie Hunter, daughter of Lathan and Jessica Hunter of Cape Girardeau.

Lindsay Siebert of Cape Girardeau attended the guest book.

The reception was held at the Plaza Conference Center.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner April 25 at Port Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Bell received a bachelor's degree in child development from Southeast Missouri State University. She is an early childhood teacher at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School in Houston, Texas.

The groom received a bachelor's degree in construction management from Southeast. He is employed by Durotech General Contractors in Houston.

After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple is residing in Houston.
