Danielle Ann Schumer and Madison John Milliken were married Dec. 29, 2012, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Brian McMaster of Austin, Texas, and the Rev. Jason Schumer of St. Louis performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Thomas and Debra Schumer of Cape Girardeau, and Timothy and Annette Milliken of Georgetown, Texas.
Maid of honor was Paige Schumer of St. Louis, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Morgan Schumer of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride; Hillary Milliken of Georgetown, sister of the groom; and Sarah Grahm of Fort Worth, Texas.
Bryan Rodriguez of St. Charles, Minn., was best man. Groomsmen were Trenton Schumer of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; Christian Liebenow of Houston, Texas; and Hayden Grahm of Fort Worth. Ushers were Tim Schumer of Perryville, Mo., Darren and Derrek Newell of Beebe, Ark., all cousins of the bride; and Thad Warren of Waco, Texas.
The reception was held at The Venue in Cape Girardeau.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Dec. 28 at Bella Italia Ristorante in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Milliken is a 2006 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in theology in 2010 and a master's degree in business administration in 2012, both from the University of Dallas in Irving. She is communications manager at the University of Dallas School of Ministry.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Georgetown High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in business leadership in 2011 from the University of Dallas-Irving, and is pursuing a master's degree in business administration at the university. He is a technical account manager with Yardi Systems Inc. in Irving.
After a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple is residing in Irving.
