FROHNA, Mo. -- Shandy Renee Scholl and Anthony Martin "Tony" Scholl were married Oct. 22, 2005, at Concordia Lutheran Church. The Rev. Wayne Palmer performed the ceremony. Pianist/organist was Jill Boxdorfer of Columbia, Mo., trumpeter was Tammy Bohnert of Frohna, and soloist was Jenny France of Frohna.
Parents of the couple are Richard and Kimberly Scholl of Altenburg, Mo., and Gary and Peggy Scholl of Frohna.
Maid of honor was Jessalynn Steffens of Fenton, Mo., cousin of the bride, and matron of honor was Sheri Ponder of Frohna. Bridesmaids were Kelly Kohlfeld of Uniontown, Mo., sister of the groom; Lori Bronenkant of Altenburg; Crystal Gholson of Wittenberg, Mo., and Shannon Meyer of Uniontown, cousins of the bride.
Junior bridesmaids were Julia Steffens of Frohna, Tiffany and Brittany Scholl of Scholl, all godchildren of the bride. Miniature bridesmaid was Maggie Howe, daughter of Scott and Lisa Howe of Oak Ridge and cousin of the bride. Miniature bride was Whitney Unterreiner of Frohna, daughter of Jenny France and Jared Unterreiner and godchild of the bride.
Cary Roth of Altenburg was best man. Groomsmen were Chris Leible of Altenburg; Jeremiah Kohlfeld of Uniontown, brother-in-law of the groom; Eric Kasten and Jeremy Roth of Altenburg; and Dean Meyer of Uniontown. Ushers were Phillip Buerck of Altenburg and Mark Scholl of Fulton, Mo., cousins of the groom.
Candlelighters were Tracy Schmidt of Richmond Heights, Mo., and Amber Brunworth of O'Fallon, Ill. Candles were lit in memory of Jason Scholl, brother of the bride, and Zachary Steffens, cousin of the bride.
Flower girl was Carly Bronenkant, daughter of Trent and Lori Bronenkant. Ringbearer was Devin Ponder, son of Jody and Sheri Ponder.
Andrea Buerck of Oxford, Miss., cousin of the groom, attended the guest book.
The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 21 at West End in Frohna.
Mrs. Scholl is a 1994 graduate of Perryville High School, and 1999 graduate of St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She is a registered pharmacist at Healing Arts Pharmacy and Pharmacy Plus in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Perryville High School, and 2003 graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College. He is employed at A&J Excavating.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, West Indies, the couple resides in Frohna.
