Scherer - Morris

Diane Marie Scherer and Ronald Dale Morris exchanged vows Oct. 22, 2011, at the VFW Post Home in Cape Girardeau. Judge Frank Marshall performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Olevia "Libby" Scherer of Benton, Mo., and the late Raymond Scherer. The groom is the son of Margie Morris of Gatewood, Mo., and the late Lloyd Morris.

The bride was presented in marriage by her brother, Anthony Scherer of Benton.

Maid of honor was Kelly Summers of Cape Girardeau.

Larry "Butch" Eskew of Tilsit was best man.

The reception was held at the post home.

Mrs. Morris is a graduate of Kelly High School. She is employed by state of Missouri, Office of Administration, Information Technology.

The groom is a graduate of Serena High School in Serena, Ill. He is retired from the state of Missouri, Office of Administration, Information Technology.

After a wedding trip to Branson, Mo., the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
