Lesa Beth Santacrose and Neal "Lars" Peterman were married Aug. 25, 2007, at St. Mary's Cathedral. The Rev. Patrick Nwokoye performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Debra Santacrose of Springfield, Ill. The groom is the son of Neal and Hope Peterman of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Amanda Peterman of Las Vegas, Nev., sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Kelly Luttrell of Washington, Mo., Keli Kuetzer, and Meg Dunstan of Memphis, Tenn., cousin of the groom.
The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Strickland, Chris Taylor, and Ben Ramsey, all of Cape Girardeau. Usher was Adam Nations of Cape Girardeau.
Mary Glosemeyer of Washington attended the guest book.
A reception was held later.
The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 24 at Celebrations.
Mrs. Peterman is a 2001 graduate of Springfield Southeast High School, and a 2006 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is manager at Olive Garden.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Central High School, and a 2001 graduate of Southeast. He is a retail store manager.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
