Sanchez-White

Silvana Sanchez and Robert Bryan White were united in marriage Dec. 10, 2004, at Iawosk Eventos in Valinhos, Brazil. The Rev. Oswaido performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Goncalo and Maria Lina Sanchez of Morungaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The groom is the son of Bob and Wylene White of Cape Girardeau.

The bride's attendants were Lourdes De Jesus of Valinhos; Ricardo Sanchez of Morungaba, brother of the bride; Karina Teseterene and Alexander Tuffulo of Valinhos; and the bride's parents.

The groom's attendants were Zonnya and Will Carpenter of Owensboro, Ky., sister and brother-in-law of the groom; Ailen Dadalt of Valinhos; Jason Bailey of League City, Texas; and the groom's parents.

Maid of honor was Victoria Silva, daughter of the bride.

Flower girls were Rachel and Hannah Carpenter, nieces of the groom.

The reception was held at Iawosk Eventos.

Dr. White is a graduate of E.E.P.G. Monsenhor Honorio Henrique Bernades Nache, and received a doctorate of dentistry from Universidada Paulista in Campinas, Brazil. She is practicing in Campinas.

The groom is a 1986 graduate of Central High School, and received a degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University in 1991. He is a senior consultant with KBC Consulting of Houston, Texas, on assignment in Campinas.

The couple is currently residing in Valinhos, but will be moving to Houston in July.
