Lauren Rutowitz and Samuel Thomas Mueller were married Oct. 15, 2005, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Norcross, Ga. Dr. Dave Koppel performed the ceremony. Scriptures were read by the Rev. Adam Mueller and Isaac Rutowitz, fathers of the bride and groom. Pianist was Penelope Williams.

The bride is the daughter of Isaac and Allison Rutowitz of Pretoria, South Africa, and the late Joyce Rutowitz. The groom is the son of Adam and Margarete Mueller of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Ruth Riemers of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, sister of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Ashleigh and Jessica Riemers of Pietermaritzburg, nieces of the bride.

Shannon Kelly of Parker, Colo., was best man. Junior groomsmen were Joshua Vogel of Cape Girardeau and Levi Haskamp of Columbia, Mo., nephews of the groom. Ushers were Craig Vigliotta of Alpharetta, Ga., and Scot Bauer of Kennesaw, Ga.

The reception was held at St. Ives Country Club in Alpharetta.

The rehearsal dinner was held Oct. 14 at Embassy Suites Hotel in Alpharetta.

Mrs. Mueller is a 1991 graduate of the University of Natal in Durban, South Africa, and is completing a master's degree in psychology at Argosy University in Atlanta, Ga. She is employed by Beazer Mortgage in Atlanta.

The groom is a 1983 graduate of Oak Ridge High School, and a 1987 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He is employed with BlueLinx Corp. in Atlanta.

After a wedding trip to the Pacific Northwest and Victoria, British Columbia, the couple resides in the Atlanta area.
