Kimberly Susan Russell and Travis Dean Burger were married July 1, 2006, at Salem Lutheran Church in Jonesboro, Ill. The Rev. David Eidson performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ernest and Marilyn Russell of Jonesboro. Michael and Judy Burger of Scott City are parents of the groom.

Maid of honor was Esther Plank of Memphis, Tenn. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Friebel of Jonesboro, sister of the bride; Molly Noe of Sikeston, Mo., and Tara Glastetter of Chaffee, Mo. Junior bridesmaids were Kelsey and Erica Friebel, nieces of the bride.

The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were Bryan and Dale Burger, brothers of the groom, and Patrick Johnston, all of Scott City.

Flower girls were Brylie and Kylie Noe, and honorary flower girl was Olivia Burger, niece of the groom. Ringbearers were Ethan Friebel, nephew of the bride, and Caleb Burger, nephew of the groom.

The dinner and dance reception was held at Great Boars of Fire Reception Hall.

Mrs. Burger is a graduate of Anna-Jonesboro High School, and a 2004 graduate of the University of Tennessee-Martin. She is a teacher at Kelso C-7 School in New Hamburg, Mo.

The groom is a graduate of Scott City High School, and attended the School of the Ozarks. He is co-owner of Burger's Innovations in Scott City.

After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Scott City.
