PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Immanuel Lutheran Church was the setting May 18, 2002, for the wedding of Tammy Elva Rubel and Kent Luther Grayum. The Rev. Matthew Marks performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Darvin and Rita Rubel of Perryville. The groom is the son of Kenneth and Diane Grayum of Cape Girardeau.

Debbie Schlitt of Oran, Mo., was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Judy Scott of Caseyville, Ill., Amanda Albert of Bay Shore, N.Y., Stephanie Vandeven of Leopold, Mo., Kathi Gosche of St. Peters, Mo., and Lori Baer of Perryville.

Best man was Bryan Gosche of St. Peters. Groomsmen were Jeff Stroder of Jackson, Mo., Scott Miller of St. Clair, Mo., Gordon and Benny Younce of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Donnie Schlitt of Oran, brother-in-law of the bride, and Gary Rubel of Ellisville, Mo., brother of the bride.

Miniature bride and groom were Brooke and Tyler Schlitt, and ringbearer was Blake Schlitt, niece and nephews of the bride. They are the children of Donnie and Debbie Schlitt.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the American Legion Hall.

Mrs. Grayum is a 1991 graduate of Perryville High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in dietetics from Southeast Missouri State University in 1995, and is a 1996 graduate of VA Dietetic Internship in St. Louis. She is a registered dietitian at Integrated Health Services in St. Louis.

The groom is a 1991 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Southeast University in 1995. He is a computer programmer consultant with Ciber Consultants of St. Louis.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Danby, Mo.
