Jamie Teresa Marie Rogers and Malvin Leslie "Chip" Steger II were united in marriage May 26, 2008, at the bride's grandparents farm in Annapolis, Mo. Jim Matthews performed the ceremony. Music was by Tom Byron of St. Louis, cousin of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Albert and Marie Brown of Altenburg, Mo., and Larry and Ann Rogers of Poplar Bluff, Mo. The groom is the son of the late Malvin and Margaret Steger of Scott City.
Maid of honor was Crystal Edwards of Millersville. Bridesmaid was KeLeigh Thorne of Jackson.
Alex Ressell of Scott City, nephew of the groom, was best man. Groomsman was Will Rogers of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride.
The bride's family hosted the rehearsal dinner May 25 at the farm.
A reception was held June 21 at the home of the bride and groom.
Mrs. Steger is a 1999 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in agribusiness in 2003, and a master of arts degree in higher education administration in 2008, both from Southeast Missouri State University.
The groom received an associate of applied science in computer science from Central Texas College.
The couple resides in New Wells.
