Madeline Rivera and R.J. Schulte were married April 16, 2011, at Espiritu Santo Church in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. Readers were Jenn Florence of Greenwood, S.C., Yanis Valle of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and Connie Peiffer of Jackson, aunt and godmother of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Confesor and Hilda Rivera of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The groom is the son of Bob and Bonnie Schulte of Carlisle, Pa.
Maid of honor was Maria Montero of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Bridesmaids were Shirley Rivera of San Juan, sister of the bride, and Megan Schulte of Columbia, Mo., sister of the groom.
Albert Garcia of Chicago was best man. Groomsmen were Erik Hays of Ada, Mich., and Ryan Rohwer of Minneapolis, Minn.
The reception was held at Perla Restaurant at La Concha A Renaissance Resort in Condado, Puerto Rico.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner April 15 at Ropa Vieja in Condado.
Mrs. Schulte received a bachelor of science degree in business administration with concentration in accounting from the University de Puerto Rico.
The groom received a bachelor of arts degree in finance from Michigan State University Eli Broad College of Business. He is a senior financial analyst with Eaton Corp.
Following a Caribbean cruise, the couple is residing in Pewaukee, Wis.
