ADVANCE, Mo. -- Leslie Marie Richmond and Matthew Ryan Nanney were married April 23, 2005, at the United Methodist Church. Mike Eighmy performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mark and Pamela Richmond of Advance, and Don and Kathy Nanney of Leopold, Mo.
Maid of honor was Lana Richmond of Advance, sister of the bride, and matron of honor was Shana Kight of Chaffee, Mo. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Welch of Advance, Kristi Jenkins of Jefferson City, Mo.; Michelle Redman of East Prairie, Mo., cousin of the bride; Erin Nanney of Leopold, sister of the groom; and Alicia Halter of Farmington, Mo.
Scott and Shawn Nanney of Cape Girardeau were their brother's best men. Groomsmen were Brad Vandeven, cousin of the groom, Alan Beussink, both of Leopold, Calvin Horrell of Festus, Mo., Brian Holzum and Junior Smith of Leopold. Ushers were Donnie Landewee of Leopold, Eric Mayfield of Chaffee, and John Vandeven of Jackson.
Flower girl was Calli Nanney, daughter of Scott Nanney and Denise Jansen of Cape Girardeau and niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Nicholas Kight, son of Jamey and Shana Kight of Chaffee.
Samantha Burford, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.
The reception was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club. Servers were Vanessa Tuttle, Gail Redman and Sara Redman, aunts of the bride.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner April 22 at the church.
Mrs. Nanney is a 1996 graduate of Advance High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000. She is a science teacher with Fort Zumwalt School District in O'Fallon, Mo.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Leopold High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast in 2003. He is an analyst with SBC in St. Louis.
The couple is residing in St. Peters, Mo.
