PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Melinda Kay Richardet and Matthew Earhart Schoen were married Feb. 3, 2007, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. The Rev. Matthew Marks performed the ceremony. Music was by Allen Steffens and soloist was Christine Steffens.
Parents of the couple are Edward and Linda Richardet of Perryville, and John and Teri Schoen of Jackson.
Maid of honor was Joleta Ludwig, cousin of the groom, and matron of honor was Sherri Pfaff. Bridesmaids were Ashly Richardet, sister-in-law of the bride; Hannah Fritsche; and Katie Hemman, cousin of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Logan Wibbenmeyer.
Tony Hoffman served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Justin Suhr; Edward Richardet, brother of the bride; Chris Abbott; and Jeff Hemmann. Ushers were Chad Miesner, cousin of the bride, and Ben Meier, cousin of the groom.
Candlelighters were Ellen Booth and Derek Brucker, cousin of the groom.
Flower girl was Alisha Reisenbichler, and ringbearer was Austin Fritsche, both cousins of the groom.
Guest book attendants were Cindy Jones, aunt of the bride, and Stephinie Lowes, cousin of the bride.
The reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Perryville.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 2 at the Red Barn in Jackson.
Mrs. Schoen is a 2002 graduate of Perryville High school. She is a 2006 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Christian School for the Young Years and My Camp.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. He is employed on the family farm.
The couple resides in Oak Ridge.
