Leslie Nicole Reed and Joseph Andrew Hoover were married Sept. 16, 2005, at Francine's Gardens in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Cy Smith performed the ceremony. Music was by Eric McGowen, saxophonist, and Kirk Miller's orchestra. Soloist was Eric Scott.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Reed of Marble Hill, Mo. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. McQuay of Jackson and Joseph L. Hoover of Kennett, Mo.

Maid of honor was Kelly Reed, sister of the bride.

Jonathan Hoover, brother of the groom, was best man. The groom's escort was Shaelyne McQuay, sister of the groom. Ushers were Jeremiah Lee, Joshua Lee and Lyman Mitten III, all of Cape Girardeau and cousins of the groom, and Andrew Suelmann of St. Louis, cousin of the bride.

Flower girl was Venus Dansby, daughter of Lydia Jasso of Scopus, Mo. Ringbearer was Garrett Fornkohl, son of Rachel Riley of Cape Girardeau.

Sharla McIntyre of Jackson attended the guest book.

A dinner and dance reception was held at Francine's. Servers were Kathy Letgrate of Scopus; Jennifer Suelmann of St. Louis and Susan Siereakowski of Louisville, Ky., both aunts of the bride.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 15 at Francine's.

Mrs. Hoover received a degree in early childhood education from Florida Community College. She is employed with Woodland School District.

The groom is a salesman with Metro Electric Supply.

A wedding trip to Jamaica is planned next spring.

The couple is residing in Sedgewickville.
