Rainey - Applewhite

Jessica Ann Rainey and Kyle David Applewhite were united in marriage Sept. 20, 2008, at Grace Methodist Church in Rockview, Mo. Frank Husted performed the ceremony. Music was by Troy Shy of Oran, Mo., brother of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Barbara Johnston of Cape Girardeau and Donald Rainey of Benton, Mo. The groom is the son of Danny and Marla Shy of Oran.

Maid of honor was Anjelica Moll of Perryville, cousin of the bride.

Scott Sheffield of Marble Hill, Mo., was best man.

Ringbearers were Damion Rainey and Luke Applewhite, sons of the bride and groom.

The reception was held at the church.

Mrs. Applewhite is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at TLC Preschool and Daycare in Chaffee, Mo.

The groom is a graduate of Southeast's Law Enforcement Academy. He is a valve technician at American Railcar in Jackson.

The couple resides in Oran.
