Ashley Virginia Raines and Joshua Blaine Koehler exchanged vows Oct. 20, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. Monsignor Ed Eftink performed the ceremony. Readers were Cristy Richardson and Jamie Koehler, godmothers of the groom. Giftbearers were Don and Sheila Beussink, godparents of the bride. Don and Carol Koehler, grandparents of the groom, assisted with the eucharist.
Guitarists were Angie Kapp of Cape Girardeau and Kerry Kamp of Jackson, pianist was Brittany Layton of Kelso, Mo., and vocalists were Bradley Bohannon of Scott City and Angie Kapp.
The bride is the daughter of Alan and Cathy Raines of Scott City. The groom is the son of Randy and Stephanie Koehler and Dale and Lisa Williams, all of Jackson.
Maid of honor was Stefanie Tatum of Scott City. Bridesmaids were Mattie Graham of Cape Girardeau, Heather Eakins of Scott City, Nancy McGuigan of Jackson, Lynsea Casey of Cape Girardeau, Ashley Miller of Scott City, Kara Beussink of Iowa City, Iowa, and Micah Schlick of Jackson, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Madalyn Dockins of Jackson, niece of the bride.
Dustin Richardson of Cape Girardeau was his cousin's best man. Groomsmen were Erik Koehler of Cape Girardeau, Seth Koehler, Garrett and Derek Williams of Jackson, Stephen Farris of Cape Girardeau, all brothers of the groom; Lucas McCulley of Cape Girardeau, and Brent Raines of Scott City, brother of the bride.
Candlelighters were mothers of the bride and groom.
Flower girl was Lauren Jauch of Olathe, Kan. Ringbearer was Tanner Raines of Jackson, nephew of the bride.
Guest book attendants were Zack Casey; Alexis Richardson, Nathanael Weber, James, Paige and Stevie Wunderlich, cousins of the groom.
The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Kelso.
The groom's mother and stepfather hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 19 at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
Mrs. Koehler is a 2002 graduate of Scott City High School, and a 2006 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is an administrative secretary at the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School, and 2005 graduate of Southeast University. He is an E-business manager with Rapco/Horizon Co.
After a wedding trip to Kentucky Lake, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
