Poole-Godwin

Bethany Poole and Samuel Godwin exchanged vows July 29, 2006, at First Assembly of God Church in Portageville, Mo. The Revs. Eugene Poole and Tom Godwin, fathers of the couple, performed the ceremony. Recorded music was played.

The bride is the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Eugene Poole of Portageville. The groom is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Tom Godwin of Bertrand, Mo.

Matron of honor was Fonda Temple, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cassie Poole, sister of the bride; Julie Bagwell, Leslie Jeudemann and Sarah Reudrich.

Craig Marshall was best man. Groomsmen were Butch Owens, Aaron Chandler, Josh Miller and Bob Adcox. Ushers were Austin Poole, brother of the bride; John Reudrich II and Josh Reudrich, nephews of the groom; and Parker Temple, nephew of the bride.

Candlelighters were Hillary Temple, niece of the bride, and Kristen Reudrich, niece of the groom.

A reception was held at the church following the ceremony, and a later one was held at the 4-H Exhibition Hall.

The bride's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 28 at the church.

Mrs. Godwin is employed at Aldi.

The groom is employed at Shivelbine's Music.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
