Pierce-Booth

Leanne Pierce and Wayne Allan Booth were united in marriage April 11, 2006, in a beach setting on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia.

The bride is the daughter of Stan and Sue Pierce of Cape Girardeau and Dave and Bonnie Brenning of Troy, Mo. The groom is the son of Rodger and Janet Booth of Martinsburg, Ohio, and Francis Bash of Homer, Ohio.

A reception was held April 15 in St. Louis.

Mrs. Booth received a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002, and is pursuing a master's degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State. She is employed at the Naval Air Depot in Cherry Point, N.C.

The groom served 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is pursuing a degree in human resources management. He is employed at the Naval Air Depot.

The couple resides in New Bern, N.C.
