Annie Kathleen Petzoldt and Jonathan Ray Michael exchanged vows Sept. 20, 2008, at Hanover Lutheran Church. The Rev. Roger Henning performed the ceremony. Organist was Keith Koenig and soloists were Matt Petzoldt, brother of the bride, and Christy Cleek, aunt of the groom.
Parents of the couple are Lynn and Debbie Petzoldt of Cape Girardeau, and Anthony and Judy Michael of Bradford, Tenn.
Matron of honor was Jennifer Kiplinger of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kim Griffaw of Cape Girardeau, Melissa Roth of St. Louis, and Jessica Holland of Delta. Junior bridesmaid was Elizabeth Cleek of Arlington, Tenn., cousin of the groom.
Joseph Holt of Greenfield, Tenn., was best man. Groomsmen were Greg Warren of Greenfield, Shane Rinks of Trenton, Tenn., and Jeff Rinks of Martin, Tenn. Junior groomsman was Preston Cleek of Arlington, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Rob Petzoldt of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride, and Roger Kiplinger of Jackson, brother-in-law of the bride.
Candlelighter was Matt Petzoldt of Cape Girardeau.
Flower girls were Ayda Kiplinger, niece of the bride, and Olivia Cooper, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Benjamin Cleek, cousin of the groom. Ayda is the daughter of Roger and Jennifer Kiplinger of Jackson. Olivia is the daughter of Josh and Jennifer Cooper of Dyer, Tenn.
Guest book attendants were Casey Petzoldt, sister-in-law of the bride, and Jody Nunnally, both of Cape Girardeau.
The reception was held at Drury Lodge in Cape Girardeau. Servers were Casey Petzoldt and Jody Nunnally.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 19 at Bella Italia in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Michael is a 2000 graduate of Central High School. She expects to receive a degree in marketing management from Southeast Missouri State University in 2010. She is employed at the Lutheran Home.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Bradford High School. He is a certified welder with FGR Mechanical in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
