MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Jennifer Lynnae Peters and Joshua Lynn Turner were married Sept. 22, 2001, at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, Mo. The Rev. Bill Huggins performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Mary Jansen; soloist was Jill Landewee; and vocalists were Bob and Jean Clubb, Melissa Thele and Jennifer Brotherton, all of Leopold.
Acolytes were Brandon Hamilton of Harrisonville, Mo., cousin of the bride, and Jana Schulte of Jackson, Mo., cousin of the groom. Lectors were Sami Schulte, cousin of the groom, and Rhonda Bartels, cousin of the bride, both of Jackson. Eucharistic minister was Carol Trankler, aunt of the bride. Giftbearers were Mike and Cathy McClard, uncle and aunt of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Greg and Glenda Peters of Marble Hill. Gary and Kathy Turner of Jackson are parents of the groom.
Mindy Johnson of Memphis, Tenn., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carri Erickson of St. Charles, Mo.; Kerri Seabaugh of Jackson; Tonya Lewis of Cape Girardeau; Beverly Peters of Marble Hill, sister-in-law of the bride; Angie Calamia of Imperial, Mo.; and Erica Lenau of St. Louis.
Best man was Jim Versemann of Jackson. Groomsmen were Ben Turner, brother of the groom, Matt Seabaugh, both of Jackson; Darrin Whaley of Henderson, Ky.; David, Bret and Stacy Peters, all of Marble Hill and brothers of the bride.
Candlelighters were Morgan Peters, cousin of the bride, and T.J. Bodenstein, cousin of the groom, both of Jackson. They are the children of Bill and Kathy Peters and Cheri Bodenstein of Jackson and Clarence Bodenstein of Texas.
Flower girls were Jessica Peters and Shelly Bodenstein of Jackson. Ringbearer was Hunter Asher of Jackson. Jessica is the daughter of Bill and Kathy Peters and cousin of the bride. Shelly is the daughter of Cheri Bodenstein and Clarence Bodenstein and cousin of the groom. Hunter is the son of Sami Schulte and Kennett Asher and cousin of the groom.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 21 in Marble Hill.
Mrs. Turner is a 1996 graduate of Leopold High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000. She is a registered nurse in the Medical Progressive Care Unit at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School. He is employed by Seabaugh Construction Co.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
