BENTON, Mo. -- Shannon Peters and Landon LeGrand were married Aug. 2, 2003, at St. Denis Catholic Church. The Rev. Normand Varone performed the ceremony. Lector was Stacy Forck. Organist was Dawn Dowd of Fenton, Mo. Vocalists were J.R. Bollinger of Nashville, Tenn., Tina Higdon of New Hamburg, Mo., and Kari Lape of Chaffee, Mo.
Parents of the couple are Jerry and Patricia Peters and James and Brenda LeGrand, all of Benton.
Maid of honor was Suzanne Urhahn of Benton. Bridesmaids were Jeannette LeGrand of Benton, sister of the groom; Melinda Gilpin of Benton; Amy Reinagel of Kelso, Mo.; and Tanya Enderle of Benton.
Aaron Burger of Scott City, cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Bryan Burger; Chad Seiler; Matt LeGrand, cousin of the groom; and Jeremy Wade, all of Benton. Ushers were Jerret Nicoson, nephew of the bride; Brian Gilpin and Eric Seiler, all of Benton.
Candlelighters were Raven Peters and Heather Nicoson, nieces of the bride.
Flower girl was Ragan Schlosser, daughter of Brad and Amy Schlosser of Benton. Ringbearer was Cole Crumley, son of Junior and Cindy Crumley of Benton.
Stacy Forck attended the guest book. Program attendants were Ashlyn Reinagel of Kelso and Madison Enderle of Benton.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at St. Denis Parish Center. Servers were Carla Essner and Tana Nicoson.
Mrs. LeGrand received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999. She is employed at Montgomery First National Bank.
The groom received a bachelor's degree in agribusiness from Southeast University in 1999. He is employed at LeGrand Farm Co.
The couple resides in Benton.
