ORAN, Mo. -- Jennifer L. Pearson and Jesse C. Rush were married June 24, 2006, at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Ed Carter performed the ceremony. Readers were Ashleigh Green of Oran, niece of the bride; and Chelsey and Morgan Laurentius, daughters of Paul and Susan Laurentius of Jackson. Soloist and guitarist was Larry Chasteen of Oran.
Alfred and Darlene Pearson of Oran are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of R. Jan Rush of Dyersburg, Tenn., and the late James "Mousie" Rush.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Matron of honor was Susan Laurentius. Junior bridesmaids were Chelsey and Morgan Laurentius.
Marty Holland, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man. Usher was Joseph Green, nephew of the bride.
Ringbearers were Logan and Lawson Holland, nephews of the groom.
The reception was held in the church fellowship hall.
The couple's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 23 at Jeremiah's in Sikeston, Mo.
Mrs. Rush is a 1995 graduate of Oran High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in child development from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999. She is a continuous treatment team case manager for children and youth with Professional Care Services of West Tennessee.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Dyersburg High School. He is employed at ERMCO in Dyersburg.
After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple resides in Dyersburg.
