The bride is the daughter of Buddy and Marsha Parrish of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Peter and Adrie Heirbaut of Wouw, The Netherlands.

Matron of honor was Pat Leech of Jackson.

Rob Heirbaut of Tilburg, The Netherlands, was his brother's best man.

A reception, dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the West-Indisch Huis.

The rehearsal dinner was held July 15 in The Hague.

A reception will also be held in November at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

The bride is a graduate of Central High School, and received a BFA degree from Stephens College. She is a fund-raising consultant to nonprofit organizations in the U.S. and the E.U.

The groom is a graduate of Norbertus College and received an MSc in applied physics from Eindhoven University of Technology. He is a science writer with De Ingenieur magazine.

Following a wedding trip to Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei, the couple is residing in Amsterdam.
