Carie Susanne O'Connell and Shawn Eugene Roll-Huston exchanged wedding vows Sept. 6, 2008, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. David Hulshof performed the ceremony. Readers were Percy Huston, father of the groom; Rachel Pickett, cousin of the bride; and Keith O'Connell, brother of the bride.

Music was by Lenny Cooper of Cape Girardeau and Jeremy Verhines of Jackson.

The bride is the daughter of Susan O'Connell of Cape Girardeau, and the late Michael O'Connell. The groom is the son of Percy and Bernadette Huston of Cape Girardeau.

The bride was escorted by Brad Verhines.

Maid of honor was Julia Nunley of Tulsa, Okla. Bridesmaids were Kim Mueller of St. Louis, Amy Augustine of Columbia, Mo., Jennifer Becker of Millersville, Rachel Bangert and Amelia Tillman of Cape Girardeau.

Eric Kennedy of Oak Ridge was best man. Groomsmen were Billy Roll of Wentzville, Mo., brother of the groom; Justin Samson of Marshall, Mo., cousin of the groom; Jeff Augustine of Columbia, Ryan Gosche of St. Louis, and Travis Helwege of Cape Girardeau. Usher was Keith O'Connell of Las Vegas, Nev., brother of the bride.

Candlelighters were mothers of the bride and groom.

Flower girl was Ashlynn Harris, daughter of Darren and Becky Harris of Jackson. Ringbearer was Michael Roll-Huston, son of the bride and groom.

Meagan Reynolds was guest book attendant.

The reception was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 5 at their home.

Mrs. Roll-Huston is employed at Saint Francis Medical Center.

The groom is employed at Garden Hill Nursery in Jackson.

After a wedding trip to Amsterdam, the couple is residing in Jackson.
