Alexis Brittany Nussbaum and Robert Michael Arnzen were married June 17, 2006, at Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. Wayne Schwiesow performed the ceremony. Organist was Pat Palisch and flutist was Jacqueline Heath, both of Jackson.
The bride is the daughter of Truman "T.L." and Lisa Nussbaum of Whitewater. The groom is the son of Robert and Terry Arnzen of Leopold, Mo.
Maid of honor was Rebecca Cook of Chaffee, Mo. Bridesmaids were Danielle Nussbaum of Whitewater, sister-in-law of the bride; Kyla Horrell of Leopold; Christy Edwards of Dexter, Mo.; Sara Bradshaw of Gordonville; and Nicole DeLisle of St. Louis, cousin of the groom.
Chad VanGennip of Leopold was best man. Groomsmen were Troy Nussbaum of Whitewater, brother of the bride; Adam Landewee and Mark Deck of Leopold, Brandon Bradshaw of Gordonville, and Joey Keys of Chaffee. Ushers were Chris Arnzen of Leopold, brother of the groom; Tony Arnzen of St. Louis, cousin of the groom; and Tyson Bollinger of Kennett, Mo.
Candlelighters were Hannah and Hailey Terry, daughters of Dave and Donna Terry of Jackson.
Flower girls were Emily and Kate Hallman and ringbearer was Gray Hallman, children of Gregg and Yvonne Hallman of Cape Girardeau.
The reception was held at Bavarian Halle. Servers were Jill Bollinger of Kennett and Sarah Simmons of Cape Girardeau.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 16 at the church parish hall.
Mrs. Arnzen received a bachelor of science degree in human environmental studies/dietetics and is participating in a dietetic internship which will end in May.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Leopold High School. He is an auto body technician at Ford Groves in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to Ormond Beach, Fla., the couple resides in Leopold.
