Sara Jane Nothdurft and Brandon Parker Pylate exchanged vows July 16, 2005, at Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville. The Revs. Don Kuehle, Paul Currie and Ann Mowery performed the ceremony. Organist was Susan Hatley, and vocalists were Jamie and Chip Sepulvado and Robyn Hosp.

The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Susan Nothdurft of Oran, Mo. The groom is the son of Penny Green of Jackson and Jerry Pylate of Caruthersville, Mo.

Matron of honor was Rebeccah Bodine of Indianapolis, Ind., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Candy Mummert of New Bern, N.C.; Paige Pylate of Jackson, sister of the groom; Allison Sherinski of St. Charles, Mo.; and Kara Thoma of Anchorage, Alaska.

Devin Foust of Jackson was best man. Groomsmen were Seth Harrell of Jackson, Todd Wessel of Kissimmee, Fla., Kyle Thompson of Jackson, and Adam Sherinski of St. Charles. Ushers were Scott Fritsche of Jackson and Brandon Swindle of Caruthersville.

Flower girls were Shelby Wrather of Nixa, Mo., cousin of the bride, and Riley Jones of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Nicholas Karnes of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom.

Kari and Erin Fields, cousins of the bride, were guest book and program attendants.

The dinner and dance reception was held at Bavarian Halle. Servers were Martha Hartmann and Jane Shinn, cousins of the bride, and Valerie Abernathy.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 15 at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

Mrs. Pylate received bachelor and master degrees in education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She teaches French at Jackson High School.

The groom received a bachelor's degree in agriculture business from the university. He is employed at Montgomery Bank.

The couple resides in Jackson.
