Nixon-Korte

CAIRO, Ill. -- Jennifer Lee Nixon and Jeffery Ray Korte were married June 24, 2006, at Mighty Rivers Worship Center in Cairo. Dr. Larry Potts performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Terry Parker of Charleston, Mo. Soloist was Charles McGinness.

The bride was presented in marriage by her brother, Forrest Nixon of Mounds, Ill.

Matron of honor was Heidi McCellen of Grand Chain, Ill., and bridesmaid was Hillary Thurston of Ullin, Ill.

Jason Korte of Metropolis, Ill., was his brother's best man. Groomsman was Jason Bowman of Metropolis. Ushers were Forrest Nixon, Wes Korte and Todd Watson of Metropolis.

Ringbearer was Thomas Bosecker of Mounds.

An outdoor dinner and dance was held at the home of the bride's mother.
