Mary Beth Niekamp and Benjamin J. Brotherton were married Nov. 5, 2005, at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Jefferson City, Mo. The Rev. Edwin Schmidt performed the ceremony. Organist was Brenda Haslag and vocalist was Janel Schnieders, cousin of the bride, both of Jefferson City.

Parents of the couple are Leonard and Willine Niekamp of Jefferson City, and James and Lori Brotherton of New Madrid, Mo.

Matron of honor was Carla Kilgore of Jefferson City, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Genevieve Norby of St. Louis and Lori Zoll of Jackson.

The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were David Kirn of Cape Girardeau and John Niekamp of Jefferson City, brother of the bride. Ushers were Kevin Niekamp of Kansas City, Mo., brother of the bride, and Scott Kilgore of Jefferson City, brother-in-law of the bride.

Flower girls were Sidney and Natalie Kilgore, daughters of Scott and Carla Kilgore and nieces of the bride.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Nov. 4 at Madison's.

Mrs. Brotherton is a graduate of Helias High School in Jefferson City. She received a degree in health management from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Blue Cross Blue Shield.

The groom is a graduate of New Madrid County High School, and attended Southeast. He is employed at Wieser Honda,

After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
