Laura A. Newlon and Joshua R. Baugh were married June 1, 2002, at Hannibal Central Park in Hannibal, Mo. Tom Day performed the double ring ceremony. Soloist was Beth Baugh of Jackson, Mo., sister of the groom. Guitarist was Joe Blessing, uncle of the bride.
Dennis and Susan Newlon of Hannibal are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Stephen and Theresa Baugh of Jackson.
Maid of honor was Natasha Thomas of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Judy Lai of Cape Girardeau, Beth Baugh, Jill Jungers of Cape Girardeau, and Sarah Nelson of Hannibal.
Brian Niedbalski of Jackson served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were John Grossnickle of New Lebanon, Ohio; Gabe Baugh of Jackson, cousin of the groom; Joshua Newlon of Hannibal, brother of the bride; and Robert Meyer of Jackson. Ushers were Chad Graham and Jacob Blessing.
Flower girl was Allison Baugh, sister of the groom. Ringbearer was Mitchel Francis.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at American Legion Hall in Hannibal.
The bride's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 31 at TJ's Supper Club in Hannibal.
Mrs. Baugh received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 2002. She is employed with Division of Youth Services.
The groom is pursuing a degree in education at Southeast University. He is employed at Wireless Retail Inc.
The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
