Amber Lynn Newcomb and Derek Thomas Doyle were married July 28, 2007, at Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Scott Moon performed the ceremony. Reader was Jennifer Engelhardt of Cape Girardeau.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Debbie Newcomb of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Tom and Karen Doyle of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Shannon Clubb, sister of the bride, and matron of honor was Kylie Scholz, both of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Julie McLean of Aurora, Ill., cousin of the bride; Melissa Lankheit and Michelle Huesgen of St. Louis, Emily Notteboom of Overland Park, Kan., and Kelly McGrath of Kansas City, Kan.
Lance Doyle of Shawnee Park, Kan., was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Evans of Cape Girardeau, Justin Lankheit, Kent Householder, Leroy McCauley and Matthew Whitten, all of St. Louis, and Todd Nordman of Sneeds Ferry, N.C. Junior usher was Truman Clubb, nephew of the bride.
Flower girls were Lorelai Clubb, niece of the bride, and Riley Doyle of Shawnee Park, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Bennett Doyle of Shawnee Park, nephew of the groom.
The reception was held at Bavarian Halle in Jackson.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 27 at their home.
Mrs. Doyle is a graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is a dental hygienist in St. Louis.
The groom is a graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University. He is a certified personal trainer. He is a manager with 2nd Wind Fitness Equipment in St. Charles, Mo.
After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in St. Louis.
