Denae Nagel and Jeffrey Walter were married May 17, 2014, at Historic Hanover Lutheran Church. The pastor, Toby Kobak, performed the ceremony. Scriptures were read by Amanda Walter of Ashland, Missouri, sister of the groom. Organist and vocalist was Matt Palisch, and guitarist was Pat Rafferty.

Parents of the couple are Dennis and Linda Nagel and Earl and Joan Walter of Jackson.

Maid of honor was Danielle Nagel of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kacie Sims of Denver, Colorado, Molly Woeltje of Jackson, and Christina Trujillo of Chicago, cousin of the bride.

Travis Stevens of Jackson was best man. Groomsmen were Justin Petzoldt and Justin Keen of Jackson, and Adam Walter of Ashland, brother of the groom. Ushers were John Bremer of Cape Girardeau and Brian Timberlake of Jackson, cousins of the groom.

Candlelighter was Ashley Yarbro, daughter of Larry Don and Edna Yarbro and cousin of the groom.

Flower girl was Audrey Leek, daughter of Molly Woeltje. Ringbearer was Aden Walter, son of Adam and Amanda Walter and nephew of the groom.

The reception was held at Bavarian Halle in Jackson.

Denae is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a doctorate of pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2008. She is employed at Jones Drug Store in Jackson and Twin City Pharmacy in Marble Hill, Missouri.

Jeffrey is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in business management from Columbia College in 2002. He is employed by Cape Girardeau County Highway Department.

The couple is residing in Jackson.
