Red Star Baptist Church was the setting June 5, 2004, for the wedding of Tamara Rae Mueller and Roy Allen Toler. Jim Matthews and Mike Triplett performed the ceremony. Organist was Dawn Dauer of Perryville, Mo., and soloist was Marvin Lawless of Jackson.
The bride is the daughter of Royal and Pauline Mueller of Jackson, and the late Marlene Mueller of Perryville. The groom is the son of Charles Toler of New Madrid, Mo., and the late Clara Toler of Cape Girardeau.
Matron of honor was Donna Brewer of Perryville, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Karen Hayes of Perryville, sister of the bride; Melba Lorenz of Farrar, Mo., and Renee Meyer of Uniontown, Mo. Junior bridesmaid was Kelsey Dover, daughter of Lee and Carla Toler of Perryville and niece of the groom.
Roger Austin of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were Lee Toler, brother of the groom; Matt Meyers of Jackson, and Mike Davis of Essex, Mo. Junior groomsman was Andrew Brewer, son of Jerry and Donna Brewer of Perryville and nephew of the bride.
Miniature bride was Amy Brewer, daughter of Jerry and Donna Brewer and niece of the bride.
Flower girl and ringbearer were Rosanna and Ryan Toler, niece and nephew of the groom. They are the children of Lee and Carla Toler.
Teresa Miller of Phoenix, Ariz., cousin of the groom, attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Jacob Dover, son of Lee and Carla Toler and nephew of the groom; Adam Brewer, son of Jerry and Donna Brewer and nephew of the bride, and Courtney Gieselmann of Chester, Ill.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Perryville. Servers were Brenda Burns and Trina Schroeder of Perryville, Tamra Hosler of Cape Girardeau, Amanda Graser and Jeannie Knotts of Chaffee, Mo., Angi Hand of Jonesboro, Ill., and Candace Miller of Sikeston, Mo., cousin of the groom.
The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner June 4 at the church.
Mrs. Toler is a 1993 graduate of Perryville High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in business from Murray State University. She is employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
The groom is a 1991 graduate of Central High School, and was a construction engineer with the U.S. Marine Corps. He is a self-employed contractor.
The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
