Julianna Christine Montgomery and Joshua Engram Ford were united in marriage during a 5 p.m. ceremony Oct. 2, 2010, at First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, Mo. The Revs. John Goodwin and Jeff Long performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Montgomery III of Sikeston. She is the granddaughter of Patricia Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau, Joel Montgomery Sr. of Sikeston, and the late Dr. William O.L. Seabaugh and Mary Lou Montgomery. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Ford of Cape Girardeau. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Ford of Cape Girardeau and Joanne Broussard of Sulphur, La.
Music for the occasion was provided by vocal soloist Lisa Lane of Sikeston and Trio Girardeaux of Cape Girardeau. Tracy Harkensee of Chicago read the scripture.
The wedding was coordinated by Chasley Bradbury of Cosmopolitan Events.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride chose a Vera Wang silk organza strapless soft sweetheart full A-line gown with draped wrap bodice and cascading skirt. She wore a simple, full-length tulle veil. She carried a bouquet of oceania roses, phalenopsis orchids, and calla lilies in creamy whites.
Mary Catherine Catrino of Cape Girardeau served as maid of honor. Elizabeth Tongate Montgomery of Columbia, Mo., sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Clare Armbruster of Chicago, Madeline Bucher of Sikeston, Lindsay Leible of St. Louis, Emily Slaten of Indianapolis, Ind., and Kristen Ford of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom. The bridesmaids wore floor-length draped taffeta gowns in shimmer mocha.
The groom chose Christopher Kirby Limbaugh of Cape Girardeau as best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Daniel of Houston, Texas, Foster McGinty of New York City, Walter Lents and Robert Foeste of Cape Girardeau, Tyler Turner of Troy, Tenn., and Henley Montgomery of Columbia and Will Montgomery of St. Louis, brothers of the bride. Ushers were Benjamin Bertrand and Matthew Pyeatte of Cape Girardeau, Andrew Moreton of Dallas, Texas, John Fray of Jonesboro, Ark., and Christopher Ransburgh of Montgomery, Ala.
Jordan Montgomery of St. Louis, cousin of the bride, was guest book attendant.
Following the ceremony, an outdoor reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. The reception coordinator was Cosmopolitan Events of St. Louis. During the cocktail reception, the Jerry Ford Band performed music on the back lawn. A seated dinner in clear tents was catered by Celebrations Restaurant of Cape Girardeau.
Floral arrangements were in soft white and gold. Following dinner, The Groove Force featuring Pat Patrick's Show Band of Nashville, Tenn., a 15-piece group, provided entertainment and dancing.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents Oct. 1 at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau.
Following a honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
